Guys Piece OfThe Pie

When we (first) saw Guys Piece ofthe Pie, what impressed us about him, besides that he was gorgeous, was that when you walked into his pen he came right up to you even though he was still on his dam.

Guys Piece OfThe Pie is an own son of leading sire, Frenchmans Guy, the decade's #1 Leading Living Sire and with progeny earnings exceeding $11 million!

And you can't overlook his maternal side - he is out of one of the most prolific daughters of Leading Broodmare Sire, Pie In The Sky. His dam is none other than Fleeting Pie, who is also the dam of Sky High Guy (who has earnings of over $200,000 in futurities and WPRA rodeos), among other very successful progeny.

"Nugget", as Guys Piece OfThe Pie is affectionately called, began his barrel career at the futurities, ridden by Rod Grote. He had a successful season winning money at the Red White and Run and the Dash & Dance Futurities. Nugget went back out on the road in 2016, placing 3rd in the 2nd go of the Fizz Bomb Maturity and winning the Mile Hi Northern Circuit Year End Open 1D Champion saddle. 2017 has proven to be another stellar season for him winning the WRA Membership Drive barrel race and the Goshen County Fair. He won the Ogallala, Gordon, Harrison & Edgemont rodeos. Placed 3rd in his first Slot race, filled Jaimie Merrill's WPRA Permit and ended up adding another $11,600+ to his earnings for the year.

Guys Piece OfThe Pie offspring are proving to be highly trainable, friendly, and athletic - they're already earning money!
